Desert Sand Soil is created when a hoe is used on Desert Sand.
Cotton Seed can be placed on it but it will only grow on Wet Desert Sand Soil.
Desert Sand Soil eventually becomes Wet Desert Sand Soil when Water (any type of water) is within two block lengths of it.
Desert Sand Soil will turn back to Desert Sand eventually if nothing is planted on it and it is not made wet for a longer time.
