Dry Dirt is abundant in the savanna biome and is a variant of Dirt. Tree and Bush Saplings can grow on dry dirt, but not much else. There is also no grass spread.
It can be mined by a shovel. The hand also works, but much slower.
Dry dirt can be made to dry soil with a hoe.
