Gold Ore is an ore which always appears in small clusters of three to five gold ores inside stone. Gold ore is less common than tin ore and more common than mese ore. Gold ore does appear at Y=-64 or below and is more common at Y=-256 or below. Mining requires a stone pickaxe (or better) and will give you a gold lump.
