mind describing your "cleanup" concept a little so editing styles don't clash? else: happy to have more enthusiastic editors on board! --Twoelk (talk) 14:30, 13 April 2021 (UTC)

Hey Twoelk, sure I will.
I'm not clear about everythig with my cleanup, cause I need to discover even more of the wiki.
But a few things are clear now for me and I will describe them on my page, so any other user is able to see what's going on here too.

Ok done, just take a look at my User page.

wow, an attempt to resort categories, a place only for the most brave to go. Somewhere on this page is the structure of the category tree the first time I got every single page in a category, including all pictures. A lot has changed since. I created the root category so that one could travel the tree and reach every page in some way or other. Not that I considered the historically grown structure inheritated from the old wiki the best solution.
One thing that we really should have done earlier is put all the mtg content into a good "mtg pages" structure. Mind you I don't want to delete any mtg content, just restructure it to reflect the concept that mtg is just a game as any other. As such some stubby pages might be worth merging. I use this page often to find orphaned pages (seems the mod NotSoSimpleMobs could use some sorting at the moment)
The language system is something I never liked in this wiki. It creates a lot of problems other wikis seem to have solved better.
so, I wish you lots of endurance for the never ending marathon you started, und viel spaß --Twoelk (talk) 02:14, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
Oh nice one that you once created the categories, that's for the link, even if it is probably a bit out of date (2014), but probably not that much, cause when I view History tabs here, not so much seems to change. Having a registe is always better then having none imo, but yeah it needs some changes nowadays.
I agree with the mtg content page, as I mentioned in the description on my user page, mod and game specific content must have a specific place, minetest is an engine, so we can not handle things here like in the minecraft wiki, where you can search for apple and get one site that always fits for minecraft. But in minetest it's different, an apple can be totally different from mod to mod, from game to game, so it is a bad decison to have a site called Apple (by the way it's number 9 of the most popular pages here lol).
Ah thanks for [[Special:UncategorizedPages]] that will be very useful!
Thanks for you wishes, but it wont be never ending, we really need a clean and up to date wiki.
Dir auch weiterhin viel Spaß! ;)

Spezialseiten und -what-links-here-
