Desert Sand Soil is created when a hoe is used on Desert Sand. Cotton Seed can be placed on it but the plants will only grow on Wet Desert Sand Soil. Wheat Seed will not grow.
Desert Sand Soil eventually becomes Wet Desert Sand Soil when Water is within two block lengths of it.
Desert Sand Soil will become Desert Sand eventually if nothing is planted on it and it is not made wet for a longer time.
Like Desert Sand, this block can fall.
