Gravel is found primarily underground and falls if there is air or any other passable node below it. On the surface, larger areas of gravel, called “gravel biomes” may rarely spawn. Gravel can be used to craft gun powder. It can be mined by a shovel; the hand also works, but slower. There is a small chance that mining gravel yields a flint instead of gravel.
