Hoes are tools which can be used to turn Dirt or Dirt with Grass into Soil and Desert Sand blocks into Desert Sand Soil. This is neccessary to be able to plant seeds. However, the seeds have to be planted soon afterwards, as the cultivated soil will turn back into normal dirt if no seed get planted.

Hoes are used by pointing the block which should be cultivated and pressing the attack key (left mouse button by default).

There are 6 different hoes, crafted from some kind of wood, some kind of stone, steel ingots, bronze ingots, mese crystals or diamonds. The hoe types only differ in the number of uses before they break.
