Dry Grass grows randomly on dirt with dry grass blocks found in savanna biomes in 5 different heights. As dry grass is part of the flora group, it very slowly spreads over time, making it renewable. Despite its natural appearance, it does not grow back when cut, nor it will grow on any other block.
The only “real” use of dry grass is that it can be used as a very low-grade furnace fuel (→Smelting).
