Steel Ladders are used to move the player vertically and can be crafted with Steel Ingots. Other than Wooden Ladders, they do not burn and have to be mined with a stone pickaxe (or better). Steel ladders can be useful when you need to place ladders near Lava or similar blocks. The “jump” key will make the player ascend the ladder while the “use” key will make the player descend the ladder. The default controls can be found here.
