Inaccurate article
The inaccuracy warning I added may seem harsh, but I think it is justified. Most or all of the information (?) in this article is apparently written by non-mapgen-developers (me included) and based on hearsay from the forums. Factual errors in any point of this article are likely. Therefore, the article should be reviewed by a developer. Additionally, the following sections are too inaccurate to be useful:
- Offset and Seed - come on, don’t say “don’t touch it”, this is an useless advice. The explanation is too technical, I didn’t get it. Remember, this is not the developer wiki.
- Spread factor
- Number of octaves - This is a wishy-washy explanation.
- Persistence - This is a wishy-washy explanation and I did not understand a word.
