Minetest (technical name: “minetest_game”) is a Minetest game which is installed by default. It contains the following mods:
- gameplay-related mods
- default: This is the most important and biggest mod in minetest_game. It adds most blocks which occour naturally and most artificial blocks, ores, many basic crafts, furnace fuels, tools, Items and all the stuff which is not covered by the other mods in this game
- bones: adds bones
- bucket: adds buckets
- creative: enables the creative inventory
- doors: adds doors
- dye: adds dye
- farming: farming-related stuff: cotton seed, wheat seed, strings, flour, bread and hoes
- fire: adds fire
- flowers: adds flowers
- screwdriver: adds screwdriver
- stairs: adds stairs and slabs
- vessels: adds drinking glass, steel bottle, glass bottle and glass fragments
- wool: adds wool in 15 colors
- give_initial_stuff
- compatibility mods: These mods were created to maintain compatibility.
- legacy: adds old items like rat and cooked rat and a bunch of aliases for compatibility with very old Minetest versions.
- external_legacy: Maintains compatibility with player-made mods which have been merged into minetest_game. Currently, these mods are diamonds and moreores.
